Spoleto

Spoleto

The ancient capital of the Longobards preserves the richness of the historical and artistic heritage of the city, testimony to the various historical periods which made Spoleto one of the most important places in Umbria. The magic of the historic centre has remained perfectly preserved, and in the Duomo you’ll find the magnificent frescoes of Pinturicchio. However, we also suggest walking along the 230 metres of the impressive Ponte delle Torri bridge that connects the fortress and Monteluco, as long as you don’t suffer from vertigo – it’s 82 metres high!
