Todi

Todi

Located a few kilometres from Perugia and Orvieto, the medieval town of Todi stands on a hill overlooking the Tiber River valley and is surrounded by three circles of wall from different eras (Etruscan, Roman and medieval). Inside the walls are landmarks and squares which are in striking contrast to the religious structures such as the Duomo, built on the remains of a temple dedicated to the God Apollo.
